Iron, steel, and money

Do not mix the two meters

Cash pays wages and some buildings. Steel builds the heavy stuff. A city can be rich and unable to field a vehicle, or full of ore and unable to pay a shop. Pages that blend “get money” and “get iron” into one grind send you to the wrong building.

I split them like this. If the red number is cash, go to shops and the workers loop. If the red number is steel or iron, go to mines, trucks, and the refinery. The videos below are cash demonstrations. They are not a steel calculator.

Questions

How do I get iron?

The community resource guide describes raw ore feeding industrial processing. Inspect the current resource and building panels for the actual extraction and delivery controls; no verified refinery-truck spawn rule or output rate is available.

Why is steel always short?

Guides call it the main bottleneck, and they also say it was rebalanced once. Plan as if steel, not cash, is what stops the military factory.

How do I get money fast?

Open a staffed, powered shop on a road. That is the community early route. A precise “per minute” number is not on the game page, so this page does not print one.
